After lunch my daughter with disabilities would often have a bit of a mess on her face when she left the class to go outside to play. With the cooperation of the classroom teacher we hung a small unbreakable mirror by the classroom door so that she could take a quick look on her way out.
Nobody had to know it was for her benefit because it was used by all the children in the class and it helped her with her grooming. Children are in such a rush to get out and play it is not reasonable to expect them to take a quick trip to the bathroom. Hanging a mirror is much more likely to be successful.Social tagging: grooming > self-care
